Are you playing PQ3 between two different devices, by any chance?
Usually this is caused when you play on one device that is an updated version of the game, and then return to another device that has yet to be updated. Because your game data is now ahead of what your previous device is recognising.
Yes, I am using two devices. I know I can manually go and update the game myself but figured it may be helpful to note this issue in case something can be coded to redirect to the store to update regardless of number of devices.
