# Critical hit % chance

Does critical hit chance % apply to spells, skulls, both?

Player: skulls - yes ; spells - no (there is a fixed percentage damage addition for casting upon an opponent’s elemental weakness, which is no longer considered a critical hit as of 1.0).

Enemy: auto-attack: yes; abilities: yes.

is this confirmed for spells that deal melee damage?

Just ran a bunch of skirmishes using only melee damage spells to test this.

Melee damage spells do not crit, unfortunately.

A critical hit will be displayed as **NUMBER!!**  
A weakness blow will be displayed as NUMBER!
