There’s a typo in the costs for Reforging Attributes when all 3 locks are used.

Should be 400 Ore and not 4000 Ore for the upgrade.

Or perhaps the cost in the program is incorrect and they can modify it. I’m personally hoping for that.

The typo is in game, not in the spreadsheet!

Just transferred an Attribute from a sacrificed item to an existing item, and it also overwrote the power level of the Attribute it replaced at a weaker power level. As a result, the Quality of the original item decreased as a result of the transaction, potentially reducing it enough to drop to a lower Quality tier.

Is this intended? Feels really bad to spend a Glyph and get a worse result than I started with.

When you replace an attribute by sacrificing a gear, you still keep your superior number of the attribute right?

Nope.

The transfer is overwriting both the Attribute type and the power level of that Attribute from the sacrificed item onto the original item and ignoring the rating of the Attribute it replaced.

Had the line with Crit Chance maxed out before the transfer. Lost ~20ish Quality as a result.

@Lyrian what item were you refining, what did you sacrifice & what attributes did you swap

Also I can’t seem to mess with gear that I have equipped. I have to un-equip them before being able to pick them for the crafting process. Is that intended?

Mashed a bunch of Mythic Esgaard Flails together to get the starting item (think it was Quality 984 before the Attribute transfer).

Transferred Crit Hit Chance from a sacrificed Night Amulet, and I think the previous attribute was Fire Starting Mana.

Nevermind, false alarm, you get the Own 1 unique pieces of this season gear at mythic when you start story.

Not the actual Power attribute/stat itself

That might be a better of describing the bar associated with each attribute.

Yeah, that’s the quality range of the attribute.

If you are refining a piece of gear that has an unwanted attribute, for the attribute of your choice - this will remain the quality it was, it is a straight swap. So if the quality of your desired attribute is lower than the unwanted one, this will affect your quality score.

I think maybe having some more details of the gear before and after, like you see in the refine quality gear screen, would be beneficial.

Is there a time limit on when we need to pick our free mythic and legendary for the new season’s platinum pass? Like do we lose those if we wait till the end of the season or even after the season ends?

Yeah, I agree with you on that. Maybe also a warning screen about the decrease in Quality if the game would detect that would happen.

It was not something I had considered myself, understanding quality took me long enough so I didn’t make the connection that your attributes count towards Quality

But yeah, I’ll pass onto the team some feedback on the Refine UI
