It’s a good job the weather’s beautiful and summer’s here as, looking at that schedule, I doubt I’ll be playing PQ3 for the next 3 weeks.

Schedule is a bit lite IMO. Would really help, if its not too late to add in one more good adventure. I think the easiest way at this point would be to replace Rune Hunters with something good like Coin Collector or Dawn Circuit.

Farm Girls is a good start of course, but you’d have to consider that as being last month’s (which was also a bit lite) and it finishes strong of course with Flametree and Gong’s Sushi at least, but could really use a bit more oomph.

How do I put this politely, the July schedule is kinda sucky, and last month’s schedule (June) sucked too! :frowning:

Please listen to the community and add more ‘good replayable adventures’ to this month’s schedule.

Many thanks!

They really can’t win with you guys.

There was negative feedback in previous months for overlapping, repeatable events. We might still be stacked up with more.

Here is a quick search of the forum.

I guess… be careful what you wish for?

Overlapping was never a thing before. I don’t see why its suddenly necessary to do it. All it does is frustrate people when its two high profile adventures and they can’t play both. If you go back and read those examples, at least the ones I posted, I think they were pretty fair and reasonable posts. Its not hard to separate good adventures with non-replayable ones as overlaps and have the best of both worlds.

Seems like we may have got this. ^

I think the real frustration here is that there are too few replayables this month. Bummer, but I guess it solved the anxiety and FOMO of having two adventures overlapping each other.

There was absolutely nothing preventing anyone from playing both. Having an abundance of choice is a good thing.

Yes, there was good feedback in those threads, but unfortunately it looks like the squeaky wheels got them to remove all of the grease.

Just to make a rather obvious point…..overlapping repeatable adventures and a distinct lack of repeatable adventures are not the same thing.

We justifiably remarked on the disadvantages of overlapping at the time and now we’re highlighting the fact that June and July have been well below par adventure-wise.

Two completely different things.

You only have to look at various schedules over the last 8 months to see that you can have a fantastic variety of repeatables in a month without the necessity for any overlapping whatsoever. There wasn’t any decent logic behind the introduction of overlaps in the first place and still no explanation for their appearance to date.

As it stands, it appears as though the devs have come to the conclusion that we were all earning far too many gems from the repeatables and they’ve put the kibosh on it.

I know I’ve said this before, but its still true, with very minor tweaks Rune Hunters and Borderlands Bash could be just as highly anticipated adventures as Farm Girls, Coin Collector, Dawn Circuit, Flametree, etc.

Dawn Circuit is a perfect example of a great adventure that felt lackluster as a player got stronger to the point where it was basically skippable. Brought to new heights of greatness because of the changes to Eveline and Grungli, to now being one of the best again for both new and veteran players.

I think part of it is the Summer Festival itself is reliant on certain adventures being non-replayable for festival currency and the fact that the festival has its own unique adventures for it. And that’s fine, but the problem is you have like Rune Hunters for two months in a row which could be really good with minor tweaking, but currently is not a fan favorite. So that’s a really good spot for something to be thrown in there. Like I said in a earlier post, strong finish at least with Flametree and Gong’s Sushi, but it does feel lacking overall.

Whatever their reasons are…variety, the festival itself, overlapping, etc. I don’t think the devs are too worried about players having too many gems. One thing that has become quite clear by now, no matter how many gems a player has…they always want more!

Sushi and Flametree are also presented in the wrong order. (intentionally?)

To get the best out of Sushi you need loot tickets….available from Flametree only after the Sushi event.

It should’ve been Flametree first, then Sushi. It’s not rocket science.

Probably not intentionally, they don’t play this game as much as we do. That’s something the players need to vocalize to the devs if its an issue. Personally though, part of that IMO is the player’s responsibility to manage those resources so they can use them for Gong’s Sushi. You spend some, but you also hold some back, because you don’t know when those adventures are coming back.

Many of us were under the impression that we didn’t need to hold gems back what with the excellent array of gem-farming repeatables that the devs gave us from around November time last year up until a couple of months ago.

It’s only now that we’re actually considering hoarding again. They’ve moved the goalposts yet again and we’re not blessed with the gift of foresight.

You can be alot looser with your gems now then before, yes. You should still keep a minimum though because you never know what the next month will have in store.

Finally have some air to breathe in that dense schedule! Nothing better to wish for during summer vacation - guys, let’s enjoy life outside of pq3! Endless grind year long is not safe for mental health

Btw why Bastille day is a thing in Australia?
Why Independence Day is a thing in Australia?
Can we have some Australian based events, to celebrate the devs country? (If i get correctly the team location)

Ohh, let’s have an event to commemorate the Emu War!

I have made many a joke about my birthday being an in-game event - but I would love to have aussie celebrations in the mix, we don’t have many that are suitable or truly Australian.
