[Reinstall PQ3- SONY] Can't load the game after the new update

Same with me, after update it simply loads, been doing this for 11 hours now, this is seriously ridiculous! I dont get any error messages, just loading screen forever.

@Gamer_Dan_79 have you also reinstalled like some of the other players, as they have seen this be resolved after?

@Jeto , yeah after 12 hours of no luck i cane across posts regarding deleting which i did and which helped thanks.

K had the same problem on PS 5. 2 days lost.

I sincerely hope these delete and reinstall issues will be sorted asap? I know of a few people who left due to this, i agree with them though, why is it my job to troubleshoot? Why must i do workarounds for you guys, its not right and extremely frustrating and tbh if next update i have to delete and reinstall once again just to play your game and to continue spending my real money on it, ill simply delete for good, it just isnt good enough im sorry, sort it out.

This issue specifically was caused by Sony console players missing some files from their PQ3 installation - which in turn caused this looping error.
Unfortunately, the only way to resolve this is to reinstall. We aren’t able to push just the missing files out to those players that are missing it.

Understand the frustration, especially for players who are not active in the forum or on our social channels who may not have known that a reinstall would resolve this for them.
Oftentimes, while there is the joke of “have you turned it off and on again”, a reinstall can commonly be the fastest and easiest fix to a number of issues, this one being a perfect example of it.

I don’t have all the information at the moment as to why some players were missing data and others weren’t but glad that in this instance, it was able to be resolved with a reinstall and not something as lengthy as awaiting a client update which wouldn’t be till 3.0 released.
