[Reported] RE Error in Party

Ok. I only get said codes during party play. Never during any other part of the game.

Could I be trying to atk someone that somebody has already killed.

Oh, I do notice when using mineral strike sometimes I fire after choosing a column, but by the time I choose the enemy is already dead. Minerals strike still continues to fire even though it doesn’t have any effect on damage. It does affect the board however. It sucks when it is a middle opponent because I lose the damage that should hit the next opponent. This happens regularly.

It could be caused by anything.

Animations are queued up once you cast a spell, so they will play even if your opponent has been defeated in the process.

Because you have taken that action against that opponent, it doesn’t recognise that in the middle of the action being applied, the opponent has been defeated.
As in, once you press the spell > then select column etc it will play out either way.

I can only suggest that once you cast any spell, that requires you to select a column/row, don’t select anything if the opponent is taking damage and cancelling the cast, so it can be used on the next opponent.

And I was only mentioning it could happen anywhere, so other people are aware this issue is not Party specific.

Just to add to this, the most common occurrence of this is that I’ve seen is when you salvage a bunch of gear and one of the gear pieces is still there, so you delete it again which crashes the game since its not actually there. The solution is to go to a different screen and come back, then the item disappears and the game doesn’t crash.

That is a similar example, but not the same exact issue/error

You can experience, what is likely the closest possible error, by trying to buy something from the bazaar that will finish the current task at the same time someone else does. You will freeze, one of you at least.

RE/CE errors, which youll see as the first 2 letters in your error code will let the devs or debuggers know if this was a communication error or a console/hardware/software/local issue.
Youre also more likely to see an issue while there is a party x times quest. Thus is why i have advicated to remove these in the past. More bandwith = more stress = more crashes.

Hello,

I got this error code while moving gems on the board in Poision Sea party play🕹. After hitting restart I was sent back to start screen to enter PQ3. Lost game play, no chest, no finishing match.

Was that the match I was in or a different one, because if it was the same one I can add to it?

This crash took place immediately when I hit the button to concede the rest of my gem movements and send the weapon atk. Game again must be restarted to play, and there is no continuation from the previous game.

Different one, my son was playing then.

Oh ok, the first error was ce348780 which crashed the game, but I was able to claim the chest when I got back on the game afterwards. Daddy was the host by the way.

It’s me again. This times code was given while i looked up the info of another player in our party. We were playing Necrotic Tomes Dungeon. I had yet to make a move in the game when the error code displayed and the game crashed. The match was already started. As with the others codes, I had to restart the game from the start screen again. No rewards, and party was disbanded as well, no continuation of play.

This is is a different error to the others you have shared so far, so I have also passed it onto the team

…are you using Orb of the Last?
Cos that is causing Party issues.

No. My orb of the last is not ready for battle yet. Using DragonKing Axe primarily.

This error took place as I sent the weapon attack after. The CE code is mine, the RE code is from GAme Freak…. He was in my party and is in my kingdom. The game crashes and has to restart again. This time I did have a chest to open. The party was still completely disbanded.

In this instance, it seems likely game thought enemy was dead already from another player damage, but dealing non-lethal damage would of brought it back to life (sets it to one min).

Reported to the team.. again, different issue to the others you reported.

I’ve noticed one of the main causes for party errors on the PSN is when someone checks their messages (outside of the game). Been keeping track of this and it happens every time (from my experience anyway). It used to happen in-game too, but that seems to have improved lately.

I don’t think that is the cause. See what happens if you turn your notifications off on your PSN messages.

The notifications don’t trigger it. I probably need to use the app more, but I instinctively check on the playstation. In-game at least seems to have improved, that used to trigger errors too. Doesn’t seem to anymore which is good.

So mineral strike usage appears to cause a crash when some specific requirement is met in party/coop play. I had a four player party, I used mineral strike, and the error popped up as I watched the health go down. Mineral strike is a 2 step spell. U first choose the spell, and then you choose the column. Anyways, hopefully there is a way to stop the crashes when using mineral strike from happening. Not sure if other 2 step spells also have the same effects. Thank you.
