I get this error code now in party too. I am not sure what is being done to help PSN coop/party play, but it may be having a negative effect on gameplay.
Did you get it more than once? I got it or another error pop up, restarted the game, and haven’t gotten it again.
This error is not specific to Party mode. Which is why I always ask for the error codes, each one is an individual string of letters, which brings up a potential cause.
Checking the data from this RE error, and your screenshot - you had no AP left but the game is trying to make a match.
Do you use autoplay?
What actions did you take before this error appeared?
You can’t autoplay in party.
this is why, I should not be allowed to talk to anyone before 7am
3 posts were split to a new topic: SONY errors
All error codes for me are during party play.
When I get stuck trying to join a party I get t no error code.
I got a different error code later in the day.
But what exactly are you doing in game right before it appears?
Did you make a match, did you cast a spell, check the settings, check chat etc.
Ah, that I need to pay better attention to. I can’t be specific to each code. I will remember this so I can be more helpful next time. My apologies. I know I was in chat at the beginning of the match. I was the match host as well. Not sure if that has any bearing.
I also have wondered is using psn chat while in party play can crash it as it seemed like a pattern, but I have not paid close enough attention.
I think that’s very possible.
It shouldnt crash anything unless your personal internet is bad, ir if the netcode was REALLY strict on background/idle.
If it was an issue, it shouldnt likely be anymore
It’s not a problem. Next time it happens, please grab the code again so I can make sure it is the same issue, and if you can make a note of what exactly happened before the error appears and if pressing restart allows you straight back in or if it kicks you out of the Party battle completely.
Every time whether I press restart or or the “x” in the corner of the notification, I am kicked back to the start screen for PQ3. I then have to enter the game and everybody else from the party experiences the same thing. I’ll attempt to remember specific actions moving forward. Since all are kicked, could it not be somebody else in the party that does something to unintentionally crash the party?
Dell my internet set up has never had issues with COD, Madden, MLB the Show or any other online game play that requires more data. My download speed is 1 gig and test speeds on my PlayStation show healthy download speeds. I really don’t believe that is a possibility. If I can play 9 innings of baseball online against a live player flawlessly and repeatedly, then it isn’t my internet.
I played a party for about two hours and it crashed. I have had games crash the first battle after Kenpo joins sometimes. I have had crashes in the first battle after someone joins besides Kenpo too. This has happened since I have played parties. Nothing has changed that I can tell.
If it is an RE error, it is an action you have taken.
If it is a CE error, then it’s an action someone else has taken
Is my understanding
I will try to trigger it.
Just some more information, on this specific error log - as I mentioned, it’s not specific to Party mode, it can happen in any area of PQ3. Seems to be that the client and the server are not in sync, so one is trying to make an action that should be impossible.
The team are going to investigate further to see what can be improved, to work towards preventing this error in future.
For now, I don’t have any troubleshooting to advise on how to avoid this specific issue.
Again, each RE/CE error is a unique code we can search to get more information about what has happened. So, one player getting an error in one game mode and someone else ALSO getting one, does not mean it’s the same issue
