What were you expecting to happen, and what actually happened
Loot tickets give the loot that would have been won for partaking in the battle. This also puts into account things like exp bonus and gold bonus. Most of these seem to be working correctly, but Guard’s Belt doesn’t seem to work. It gives 20%/30/40/50 based on winning in 15 turns or less. Given that using a loot ticket wins in 0 turns, figured it would apply the gold bonus to the ticket, but it does not. All other gold/exp bonuses seem to work correctly on tickets, but not this one.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
All the time since the start of early access.

1: Wear Guard Belt
2: Use Ticket
I’m betting this is by design. Wrongly by design? Possibly. I’m basing my experience with these sort of tickets on games that are completely unrelated. So I could be way off here. But in my experience with this mechanic in other games (again this is a new game with a new thing) you don’t get credit for turns. Its like rewards with no battle so anything amped off turns is ignored completely? Just my experience with similar mechanics. Very interested in the official response here. Because I too think it should count.
That’s my take on this. The Guard’s Belt offers a skill-based challenge (win in X turns) for an additional reward.
If the player circumvents the challenge through using a loot ticket, then the challenge was not passed because it was never invoked. If the player wants the additional reward, then they should be required to invoke and then pass the challenge needed to obtain that additional reward.
That seems to be the way it has been in other games I’ve played that used loot tickets, which is why I think its intended.
But I also agree with Tacet here that its inconsistent. If its just a straight up loot ticket, it should arguably just give the base loot, across the board, with all bonuses ignored. If its allowing certain bonus bumps and not others, that’s kind of messy.
I’ve spoken to the team and they are updating the text in game. It will now read: Gain (insert amout of) gold find if you win in less than 15 turns (this does not apply if you are using a Loot Ticket).
