Stun: the dictator

The almighty stun dictates progression, player direction, loadouts, and more. It would be so fun to play this game with the elbow room to experiment with different spells and gear, but due to the difficulty, players must submit to creating loadouts that allow them to get as many stuns as possible. No matter the character, it’s stun loop or perish in .36, from my experience, anyway. Another player in chat told me that if they start a battle and can’t stun in two turns they quit and try again. Where is the fun in that? No other setup is viable to advance anymore. It seems a shame that with so much potential variety of spell and gear combos that we must push forward only through this narrow window of what we need to stun loop. At this time it’s the only path to take for us, stray from it and see difficult turn into impossible.
