Is it just me or is any1 else feel diamond marks are dropping alot less. I do 13 event battles every day and in the last 10 days i have only recieved 107 diamond marks

Back when I actually bothered with events (before the whole Deutsche Marks thing) it was up and down, as you’d expect from the RNG.
It would be much better if gold wasn’t a potential drop though.
13 events per day with 2 enemies each. Each enemy has 8% chance to give between 5 and 8 diamond marks. If we do the maths, in 10 days you would be expecting:
13 x 2 x 0.08 x 6.5 x 10 = 135 diamond marks
You got less, true, but in my opinion it is within the deviation expected due to randomness.
Thanks for the math formula, it made it feel not so bad. However Using ur equation adding another day of 13 battles i would be expecting about 148 diamond marks, but im still on 107 lol, another day with no marks, hopefully i get enouth for the random mythic this week
In the formula why do u use the 6.5, thats the only part i dont understand. Is it to do with 5-8 diamond marks, if so that means with 2 enemies ud expect 10-16 so 6.5 in ur formula would be 12.5, i may correct but i may be super wrong,
If we assume that the diamond mark distribution is even (25% 5 marks, 25% 6 marks, 25% 7 marks and 25% 8 marks) then the average amount of diamond marks you get per drop is (5+6+7+8)/4 = 6.5. Then the formula is:
10 days x 13 battles/day x 2 enemy/battle x 0.08 diamond drop/enemy x 6.5 diamond marks/ diamond drop = 135 diamond marks
This, of course, is the average amount of diamond marks expected for an infinite size sample. With low size samples the actual number you get can deviate a lot, specially for drops with low %.

I’ve now gone 3 days (18 battles) without receiving a single diamond mark.
18 battles would be 18 battles x 2 enemies/battle x 0.08 diamond mark drops/enemy = 2.88 diamond drops.
That is the issue of diamond marks, the drop rate is so low that it is easy to get none for several battles. The lower the drop rate the higher the variance compared to the expected number of drops and the more frequent suffering dry spells.

So mythic relics on sale for diamond marks, this is the 1st time ive gone 2 weeks without having the required marks. Normally im able to get it fornightly, as we stand i only have 128 in 2 weeks,
