Party mode not work

I am using a PS4 and my husband is using a
PS5 neither one of us can join or have someone join the party mode so we are not able to complete the special event win 5 party modes. I can play party mode by myself but it doesn’t count unless someone else joins. can you either fix it so we can join parties or make it so you just need to be in party mode but you play alone.

We have had similar reports on SONY but I couldn’t get enough information to investigate further

  • Is it happening in all battle locations? Season and Story, or one specific location?
  • What happens after you open the Party menu? Are the buttons not responsive or is everything just infinitely loading?
  • Are you trying to create private or open Party groups?
  • What happens when you try to Join a Party?

it randomly started work right after I put in this complaint. Thank you anyways.

From what I’ve experienced sometimes you get an invite and can’t join the party, but the game shows you in the party now on the invite. I’ve seen people get off the game and still be in the party. There are steps you can take to fix this like clearing the cache, or restarting the ps4, etc. Sometimes you get a crash from party forcing you to restart the game and then it works fine after that.

Instability is one thing but if this is an ongoing issue for SONY players I’ll need to scoop us as much info as possible to pass onto the team… after the holiday break at this stage

I’m getting this issue again

  • Is it happening in all battle locations? Season and Story, or one specific location?
    I can’t get that far to play any locations. The steps I take are: Home >Battles>Party>Search for Party. I have both Friend parties and public parties as options. I click to highlight my chosen option then Click “Join Party”. I get the message: “Error - You are not allowed in this party”

    As above, neither. When I click Join Party I get the message “Error - You are not allowed in this party”

  • Are you trying to create private or open Party groups?
    No - I am trying to join other peoples parties.

  • What happens when you try to Join a Party?
    As above.

Usually this actually isn’t an error. It just means that the party you’re trying to join is currently in a battle. If you keep trying to join, you eventually will.

This needs rewording then - the error message gives people no indication whatsoever that this is what is happening. Really misleading.

Other than those parties that were full - any issues with other parties or starting your own co op battle?
