Broadside and Glory

[Verse 1]
On the New James 2, where the cannons roar,
Captain Mutiny leads from the deck once more!
Iron and fire, our will won’t bend,
As we fire the broadside, friend and friend!
[Chorus]
Boom, boom, the chain shot flies,
Tearing through sails and rigging skies!
Steel meets steel, the sea roars its might,
As we fight for glory, day or night!
[Verse 2]
The enemy’s hull trembles with each blast,
Our aim’s true and our rage unsurpassed!
Chain shot scythes through, a deadly dance,
Leavin’ their ship a splintered chance!
[Bridge]
“Fire again!” Captain Mutiny commands,
As the New James 2 cuts through the sands!
The battle’s fierce, but we won’t yield,
For the pirate’s code runs deep and real!
[Verse 3]
The sea’s a battlefield, the sky’s our ally,
With Mutiny at the helm, no foe can defy!
The New James 2 rides the tempest’s wave,
A legend forged by fire and brave!
[Chorus]
Boom, boom, the chain shot flies,
Tearing through sails and rigging skies!
Steel meets steel, the sea roars its might,
As we fight for glory, day or night!
[Verse 4]
For we battle for Mutiny and the New James’ cheers!
For we’re pirates of the deep blue sea,
Broadside and chain shot, forever f rage won’t subside,
The enemy’s flag drops, their will’s resigned,
But the New James 2 won’t leave them behind!
We’ll take their plunder, their gold, their wine,
And sail once more to fight another day, oh mine!
[Instrumental Bridge]
[Verse 5]
Captain Mutiny’s voice rings out with glee,
“Another victory for this pirate’s decree!”
The crew erupts in a raucous cheer,
As the chain shot echoes, far and near!
[Final Chorus]
Boom, boom, the chain shot flies,
Tearing through sails and rigging skies!
Steel meets steel, the sea roars its might,
As we fight for glory, day or night!
[Outro]
So raise your glass and your pirate’s pride,
To Mutiny’s crew and the New James’ ride!
Wherever the winds take us, we’ll never tire,
Of the broadside and chain shot, our fill!

Ahoy there, matey! Here be the definitions o’ those proper piratical terms:
-
Broadside: The entire side of a ship, from bow to stern. More specifically, it refers to the simultaneous firing of all the cannons on one side of a vessel, used to unleash maximum firepower upon an enemy ship.
-
Chainshot: A special type o’ cannon ammunition made o’ two smaller balls or half-balls joined by a length o’ chain. When fired, the shot spins and tumbles through the air, and is used to great effect for shreddin’ a target ship’s masts, sails, and rigging, leavin’ it dead in the water.
