It’s very difficult to work on your KD build when someone from your kingdom has already killed the dragon, leaving you with only 1.5M damage to deal to the dragon.
By allowing us to do the full 34M damage during our turns - whether it’s already been slain or not - we can hone our builds much more effectively.
Also, the accumulated scores of all kingdom members could be entered into a scoreboard against other kingdoms.
I am 100% against this personally, as I hate wasting time in KD. I feel the current system of how its done is already perfection. That being said, the devs are well aware that some players want this and Jeto has already passed the info on to the team. Its not one of their priorities at the moment, but that of course could change at a moment’s notice.
As far as working on your builds go, I’d recommend level 100 dungeons for playtesting or event, especially Boss Rush. If you do well in Event, then you’re probably going to do well in KD as well, keeping in mind of course that certain strategies like stunlock are not viable in KD.
100% agree. Unless you run for 34M+ in first shot (shout out to Mocherson’s 100M+ in first hit against the dragon), you are running a few turns to accumulate damage capabilities, it is impossible with 200/100 lvl dungeons, so their use is of zero help there.
The way you do that is to build up for a long period of time. Say using a merc and keep using greed gems, pay in advance, and find weakness without doing too much damage. Then when you’re ready unload a devastating attack.
There’s one combination of gear that gives a chain reaction constantly producing and matching gems, and producing and matching skulls. Couple to this other gear that is used to increase damage, and if you are lucky and patient enough, after 30 min chain reaction your move is over and you deliver 100m+
This is how i see it, and @KenpoKid69 apparently merc is the worst class to use for this one.
No, that’s not true at all and there are multiple ways of hitting the dragon for massive damage. I’ve even killed him with spells before. He’s not that hard really.
I’ll give you two examples for Merc off the top of my head. Pay in Advance and Greedy Rage. Pay increases power and Greedy Rage gets a permanent 20% damage for every greed gem you use so no limit essentially.
I think we are speaking of different things, man. Greedy rate scales for that spell damage, not for skull. And it’s impossible to hit with spell damage on the very first turn.
I have a fully refined and honed build designed for maximal spell damage and growing that damage over time (the one I used to reach the damage limit). The issue is that the KD dragon gives a limited amount of time to grow your power. I have just tried a battle with surprinsingly good luck (I have managed to get a lot of turns before the dragon filled the last spell) and even then my spell “only” did a bit over 9 milion damage. I am highly skeptical about the possibility of killing a full health dragon with a single spell.
