So ive decided i no longer wish to keep my fully honed dreamhold ring, if i was to salvage i can see i will get my 24 X dreamhold relics back, however if i was to sacrafice my fully honed ring to improve rarity/quality on another item will this also return my 24X dreamhold relics? This is to costly to risk without knowing the answer, i would appreciate ur response @Jeto in this matter, thanks
The answer is yes, whenever you sacrifice a mythic item to refine attribute or quality you will get back all the resources used on honing that piece. There is no pop up as with salvage, so it may seem as it didn’t happen. But if you check your wallet before and after sacrificing the item you will see that you have gotten your resources back. I have done it a lot of times without issue.

Thanks, some peeple on psn felt this was the case but noone has done it yet to confirm, did not want to risk it, guess il try it tonight

When I started using the refine system, what I did was start with a mythic honed just a few tiers to check if I was indeed getting the resources, before moving onto mythics honed with T4 relics. Better safe than sorry 
Of course, the rest are just small change.
