I don’t think it’s been mentioned here, but the word computer has been censored to take out p-u-t-e (a dirty word in Spanish, I’m inclined to say.)
Out of curiosity: a couple of month ago, the filter got really annoying again - what happened there?
And: do you have any plans on fixing this or including a “turn off chat filter” setting like it exists in almost all online games?
I always forget all of the things getting censored, but in German, it is impossible and thus very annoying that you are unable to welcome someone new to the kingdom, as the verb “kommen” (“to come”) is filtered from “Willkommen” (“welcome”). The same is true for “etwas bekommen” (to find/receive/get something), when you want to tell someone to try to find a piece of equipment or where to get a spell / etc.
Oh no!
Nothing should have reverted.
I’ve passed the issue with “kommen” onto the team.
@Kafka
Any update? It is still impossible to welcome new players in German
Sorry, but one of the most less important problems the game has … and i am german.
Annoying that chatfilter … but … too much other things that have to be done first.
While I agree with you that there are major problems, which should be addressed ASAP (and not made worse), the fact that a normal regression test would have been enough to prevent a working chat filter from going rogue for 2 (? 3?) patches should be alarming at least.
I agree, but … our Dev isnt even able to solve a single of that major problems without making them worse mostly … so pls, dont distract them from what is really important … they are just not able to handle it.
