The Gear Rework

Couple of things I can address

  • Yes, in future there are plans for more difficult enemies. But no change in 3.0, it’s big enough as is.
  • Salvaging gear that has been honed - Honing this Epic chestplate to max (3 pips) & the resource cost


The resources I get back, you can see the resources I just spent to Hone it are now included:

  • If you have Mythic gear currently it will still be Mythic (rarity) and the conversion will be set to a mid point or close to (this is still being worked on, which is why I haven’t showed my transition gear and comparisons).
    But the transition will be the same for everyone, all gear in terms of quality would be set to the same place for everyone - also your Gear damage & stats would remain the same if not a little better.

If you are trying to compare your lvl 50 weapon to someone else, even in 2.5 they are not the same. Unless you and other player have identical attributes - in which case, in the transition they will still be the same. It will only be NEW gear collected in 3.0 onwards that you will see a variation in stats.
