Follow-up question, Event related:

Screenshot:

Fire 3-day dungeon just ended. I finished every round with full health (via regeneration before defeating the opponent), but I ended up thousands of points behind where I should have scored.

Been racking my brain on this one, and outside of a bug there’s only one other possible answer that I can think of for this behavior. And, thus, the follow-up question.

Was Event scoring changed in 1.4 to not award points based on final health totals, but rather on the lowest amount of health the player had at any given time during a match?

No change in 1.4. I did get full perfect scores, even when I got burned in between, but regenerated health to full just before the enemy died.

Normally, that is indeed the case.

Something went off the rails here, though.

  • As my score for the event did not end in a zero, that means that I did not receive full credit for at least one token’s run.

  • As my score was almost 6,000 points before that of a full score, that meant that I did not just take a demerit for a single token or two’s tick of burn damage. That’s a whole lot of compiled damage to score that far behind the pack. Even more so, given that I ensured that I was at full health before defeating each opponent.

Did I somehow trigger the old Event scoring bug from quite a few updates ago?

I run as redundancy two seperate stacks of Regen (from Shaman spell Poison Charm and passively through Esgaard II set bonus). But, that hasn’t caused an issue before.

Looking at any possible gear changes for a culprit, well hrmmm… there might be a possible red flag to throw here.

I have to wonder… would the auto-cleanse on the Dragonking I set bonus potentially screw up the scoring system?
