Chest Cancel Mission Functionality

I selected one of my diamond chests that had about 3 hours remaining and was going to open it with food. However I mis-clicked and hit Cancel Mission. It kept the chest in my vault but the timer started over again at 24 hours. My suggestion to improve this would be to have that timer remain where it was so a new minion could just pick up where the timer left off, regardless of a chest being cancelled by mistake or purposefully.

They can’t do that because it could lead to abuse. If you cancel a mission, your minion no longer needs a nap. So I could for example take a Level 50 Zapling (a speed minion) and assign him to a chest cutting the mission time in half. Cancel the mission and then equip a Level 50 Pussbag (a cunning minion) to get a 50% chance of getting a chest key.

But it is annoying I agree, maybe they can add an extra confirmation “are you sure?” instead to prevent it from accidentally happening. That would be a much more practical solution IMO.

I can see the abuse being an issue and agree that a confirmation screen would be nice as I feel canceling isn’t probably used as much. That would be a good compromise.

Simply remove the cancel option. It should be salvaged, key, or food.

I get having gems as an option, but you should never use it unless you spend thousands of RL dollars on the game. Adding confirmation buttons just makes more inputs, which is annoying, but should be there for gems. Unless you remove that also.

Honestly, in a perfect world, i would remove cancel and gem opening, and then add an option to open for gold. This option should be insanely expensive. (Probably 40-60k for a diamond chest starting at no+speed to max+speed.

Less inputs, and a use for gold.
