Chest Slot - GUARD?

I have got one extra Chest Slot now - total three now. For further slots, it says, "GUARD required ".
Can someone please explain, what this means ?

RARE guard required, EPIC guard required… yes?
that’s the actual requirement of unlocking these. RAISE HIS RARITY.
