What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened
After finishing ‘The Coin Collector’ adventure the game in “hang up” with the empty screen. But tool buttons on the top of the screen was working and I “reseted” the game by switching the hero. All is on the video.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
I got this bug three times today. But another 3 or 4 runs finished without any problems…
During all runs I used the same hero and autofight.
Also happened the previous adventure or possibly the one before that. When it happens once… Well these things happen but now it’s happened 2x to me in close succession. Menus’s work as in original post.
Previously I had no luck reproducing this, which is weird cos it sounds like it should be as simple as just finishing the Adventure
Had you collected all your rewards before this screen, was there anything weird you noticed prior, did you open chat or collect mail at all - as in leaving the Adventure screen in the background?
Trying to get as much information to try and pinpoint a trigger
It seems no one has provided any further details. This was happening to only some people during the coin collector event 10 - 13 Aug as we discussed on discord. It’s kind of rare somewhere between 10% - 3% of runs through for those affected. For me it always happened after collecting the final gem rewards and having the gem reward shown in the bottom middle of the screen. After clicking to continue it should take me back to the adventure selection screen but the screen changed and hung on one of 2 different screens for me. It happened on my phone Android 13 and my tablet Android 14. No doing anything strange, just finish last battle and collect rewards ready to start the adventure again.
It seems random, but I guess it’s not It can happen in consecutive runs and then not again for ages.
For anyone with this problem: You can get the game to take you back to the home screen by either changing heros or going to the settings screen and then exiting the settings.
Nothing exciting in these videos but they show the 2 backgrounds I could get when it got stuck.
