Snagged my lucky self an immortal mythic night wand.
Butttt I don’t use night gear. Is there anything special about them I’m not seeing before I probably use it for upgrade material?
Also if you upgrade any gear enough times, does become immortal eventually anyway?
Don’t Scrap That Wand Just Yet!
Before you toss that Immortal Mythic into the forge, there’s some high-level strategy you might be missing. The Night Wand isn’t just a purple stick; it’s a specialized tool for the toughest content in the game.
-
The Mana Buffer: That +15 starting mana is a lifesaver in Events and Tournaments. When enemy minions hit you with mana-lowering debuffs, pairing this wand with 80% starting mana gear (like the Flametree Helm or Bone Rings) ensures you actually start with a full tank despite their interference.
-
The XP Farm: The Night Set is heavily weighted toward the XP Bonus stat. Since yours is Immortal, you can reroll until you hit a massive XP stat and then “steal” it for your main gear set.
Consulting the Ancient Texts
The “luck” you feel when rolling stats isn’t random—it’s math. The developers have confirmed that different sets favor different stats. For example, if you’re hunting for Critical Damage, some sets will practically hand it to you, while others will make you bleed gems.
To master this, you need to consult the Sibelious Manuscript:
Sibelious’ Original Gear Guide https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1I1ddsNRcKuSlbnplu6l3E8obax8uwDqojGQ7YWBhHtM/edit?gid=937771220#gid=937771220
Note: This was written a millennium ago by our PQ3 ancestors. While the “wisdom” remains true, the terminology has evolved. You’ll need a translator for some of the old names, but the weighted probabilities are still the law of the land.
Interesting. Thanks for the reply and advice
