What were you expecting to happen, and what actually happened
The gem board sometimes disappears when making a match.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
Happened twice, started yesterday and again today.
Steps to make it happen again
Unknown, play game.

Android Version 8.1.
I just had the same thing happen. I’m playing using Bluestacks. It happened after I used a spell and killed the opponent, after restarting the game continued the battle - it opened to show me the board and the next opponent in the line-up.
For some reason, the forum doesn’t allow me to attach a screenshot, so no screenshot, sorry.
Similar bug has happened to my wife multiple times, but usually it’s after she kills the enemy. Just hangs there without gem board returning.
She is on Pixel 4a 5G, running Android 11.
