After doing something like 75 ultimate caches and not getting any Oberon’s or Resh’s, I’ve switched over to enhanced caches. My theory is that something is putting my cache RNG in some kind of RNG stasis / quicksand / timelooop, because it’s just not a statistically likely outcome (0.04%). Yeah yeah yeah “RNG will RNG” yadda yadda yadda, but we’ve already seen how sometimes RNG is NOT RNG if there’s a bug (like in the Tavern). Interestingly, I’ve now gotten a Resh crystal from an enhanced cache.
Yeah, I’m switching between ultimate and enhanced caches for now. It might not do anything, but at least it helps my sanity.

I did this and, oh boy, it worked at first enhanced cache opened. I still can’t believe it, really.
I think I’ve done 75 UCs and now 12 ECs
I’ve done LOTS looking for the Shield on the archive (the other one I still didn’t try). I’ve only had luck during the seasons (1.2, 1.4, 1.5).
So, now I’m at I think I’ve done 75 UCs and 13 ECs, but only 1 Resh crystal, and 0 Oberon’s
75 UCs and 14 ECs, but only 1 Resh crystal, and 0 Oberon’s. Hopefully we can get an official test of the Seasonal Cache RNG at some point.
I feel that I got really lucky. After opening 13 more caches (9 ultimate & 4 enhanced), the RNG gods bestowed upon me a Dragonrealm Ring.

I opened about 48 ultimate caches and around 10 enhanced caches.

So, first off, the following image is definitely NOT my results from opening Seasonal 1.3 caches. Rather, it is the result of someone else opening 14 Dreamhold Caches (0.5% chance for Oberon’s):
In contrast, here’s my experience: after opening 75 UCs and 15 ECs (5% and 2% chance for Oberon’s, respectively), I’ve got 0 Oberon’s, 1 Resh crystal, and lots and lots and lots of shards and basic items.
@Jeto: Any chance we could get a check on the RNG of Seasonal 1.3 caches??
What are we even looking at here? 10/10 items, multiple Keybelts? I don’t understand?
Someone opened 10 50 coin chests and pulled two keybelts. You’re seeing the last two items they pulled.
