Which icons? As there are some more fixes coming in the 3.0.1 hotfix
Oh these ones?
I was about to send you a picture, but yes, those icons.
I’ll pass this feedback on!
@Jeto Crafter description needs updating. It says Crafted gear will be up to legendary rarity. But then when you go to craft, you have the option to craft mythic gear.
Already reported this to the team
Should clarify, I raised this with the team as I was also like “Well followers can craft Mythic gear now” but that text is related to this option specifically
This first choice, if your follower is level 50, it will craft up to Legendary
Also when viewing your character normally, you have the option to press a little quill icon by the upper left gear on the page. But right before a battle if you go to inventory screen, there doesn’t seem to be an option to view your stats?
First two pics are taken on home page, last one is taken right before a battle, no apparent option to view stats.
Which battle type are you in @KenpoKid69? But likely these are resolved in the 3.0.1 hotfix
The Challenges is where I noticed it. But I also see it in seasons Dungeon as well, so probably every game mode before a fight.
Also it dont show up in p.v.p
But any future reports, can they go into the Patch Notes thread, so this can remain a Gear Rework specific thread, like for ongoing feedback
Hi all, I struggled a long time before i finally decide to post here. I’ve been reading everyone’s comment and still remained silent until the update went live. i’ve got faith in the DEV’s team since we all got our compensation for the spell rework and i was hoping the same for the gear rework, but nah, no glyph returned.
here’s my situation and feel me, if you could.
i have 107 mythic items and 67 of them were lvl 50, you should all understand how much money they are wroth. i thought after the update, lvl 50 mythic should be slightly stronger then the lvl 45 mythic and im gonna live with it, but nah, they are 100% the same in quality and stats range. i mean, what is this BS? you are telling me i have just thrown 670 glyphs into the water?
let’s do the math here:
67 lvl 50 item, means 670 extra glyphs i have invested, not to mention 16 of them were weapons. let’s just consider they were all armors. 67x10=670 armor glyphs, each of them was worth 625 crowns, that’s 670x625=418,750 crowns. that’s real money i have missing from this update, totally unacceptable.
i’ve playing this game since March 2022, no matter how busy i was in life, i never stopped questing, leveling, farming for 1 day, i’ve spent tons of money into this game, and now im really frustrated and struggling of whether i should continue to play.
If you don’t mind, I am curious about one thing. Would you have preferred that the lvl 50 and 45 mythics were converted to be as they were before (meaning, for example, 4923 damage for lvl 45 weapon mythics and 6561 damage for lvl 50 mythic weapons)? That would have been a fair transition since we would have kept the power level of our gear and there would have been no “wasted” glyphs since lvl 50 items would still be better than lvl 45 items.
option 1: make a difference that’s worth 10 glyphs between lvl 50 and lvl 45 mythic after the update.
option 2: keep the way they are now and refund glyphs.
i have prepared $ for the new update and now im gonna put them back into my pocket.
Then I guess that is a yes? That you would have preferred the items keeping their stats as they were to make sure the glyph difference between different level mythics stayed? That would have been fairer, wouldn’t it?
@Jeto I am a bit confused. I was grinding the game for the platinum trophy on PlayStation. My shield was at level 45 and I needed 10 more accessory glyphs to reach level 50 and get my last trophy needed for the platinum. With 3.0, I now need 40 glyphs (4 times more!) to get my Utility battle scroll from 45 to 50. Are glyphs going to drop in chests now!? It seems like a crazy amount of gems and time to spend otherwise.
My point is that no one complaining about how unfair it was to have all mythic items get lvl 50 stats suggested the fairest solution of all: transition all items to a quality with equivalent stats to the ones they had before. That way we would be losing nothing and the value of the resources used to level up items wouldn’t have “evaporated”.
Of course no one suggested this, because they would then become really unpopular since it would be affecting others negatively. But let’s imagine a scenario where you can choose what happens only to you. What the others get doesn’t matter, according to the point that as been made that the complains weren’t due to comparison with others. You have then 2 options:
What would you choose?
I highly doubt anyone would choose the first one, even if it was the “fairest”. In the end, the result is that the second option will give you something extra, while the first one doesn’t. That is why I believe the glyph devaluation argument is completely flimsy, for it to happen something good has to happen too, which makes this scenario much better than nothing happening.
This is when someone says “what about the third option, the items convert to the highest level’s stats and additionally we get resource refund”. Well, now you are the one being quite unfair, you are asking both for receiving the gift of your items becoming stronger but also getting resources back to avoid resource devaluation. Or a fourth option: “go back in time knowing what I know now, so that I can optimize for the second option”. I guess I don’t have to explain how ridiculous this one is.
I know that we couldn’t choose, that we were already given a transition. But my point is that if when choosing freely in the previous scenario you think the second option is better then you are admitting that the glyph devaluation is compensated by the extra value you are getting from the deal and therefore there is no sense on asking for further compensation. If you think the first option is better then it does make sense you complain and ask for compensation, but let me say you sure have an interesting way of thinking where you prioritize abstract concepts that only exist on your mind before practical choices.
Honing is great; it’s intuitive and looks good too.
But, why did we lose the ability to evolve gear in the first place? Why not just continue the honing process toward mythic++++? The UI would allow it, as you need to go through the rare/epic/legendary process with mythic gear anyway.
There was a couple of items I was just about to make mythic (Bone ring & Trarg helm) but I chose to get my utility scroll to 50 instead (still the right choice in my opinion). These items are now stuck at legendary, meaning I have to spend more time farming for the right mythic items in the right colour.
One or two people on the PS4 chat said their goodbyes and uninstalled because of this.
Just to echo what ed has just posted.
I had no idea that it was now impossible to hone current gear items beyond a certain level due to maximum honing level being dependent on an item’s rarity?
Where was this made evident in the plethora of posts leading up to this because, from the information given, it appeared as though all gear had the ability to be honed up to Tier X?
If I had known this then I would’ve evolved loads more gear items pre-update. As it stands I now have many of my gear items stuck at a maximum rarity/level of either Epic or Legendary/Tier III and Tier IV.
I now can’t upgrade my characters beyond a certain gear score unless I somehow collect rarer gear items….which would basically render my current gear items pointless anyway?!
Zero idea if evolving will come back or not but the follower rework is still to come, which reading between the lines of what’s been posted is another part to the Gear Rework that is so far completely unknown to us. I’d recommend to people to stick around to see what comes with that update.
The mythic pips even go through two different colours, so why not three?
