I just started playing the game on iPhone after playing on Xbox One and I noticed there is no option to turn off the vibrations. It can be done if a controller is connected but not for the phone vibrations.
Can you add this setting ?
I play on iPhone and remember having this issue. Don’t remember exactly how i solved it, probably by disabling vibration overall in the system settings.
Thanks but although I don’t find the vibrations to serve the game experience in Puzzle Quest 3, they are way too useful everywhere else on the phone for me to disable them. And Shortcuts on iPhone doesn’t allow me to auto-change that just for this application…
We found that there ARE haptic settings on iOS but they are in the controller tab, which is only viewable if you have a controller connected to your device
If you do have a controller, you can connect to your phone, the settings appear, and you can switch off vibrations.
We are looking at getting that fixed, but likely won’t make it into 4.1 and more like 4.2
With an Xbox One controller connected to my iPhone 15 pro on iOS 18.5 I don’t see such an option in the OS settings. In the information icon next to the controller in Bluetooth settings all I can do is forget the device. If I search « haptic » or « vibration », it directs me to « sounds and vibrations » or « accessibility » (my phone is in French so the terms may differ) and there is no fitting options there. I do have an option to turn off all phone vibrations in « Accessibility/Touch » but I obviously don’t want to use that menu every time I play the game.
If I go back to the game with the controller, I can turn off the controller vibrations but as soon as it’s off the phone vibrates again.
That’s great, it works as a charm. Thanks for the good work!
Now all that’s missing for a nice idle gaming when using the auto mode is the option to prevent the phone to go on sleep mode. Most games do that by default and I appreciate that’s not the case here but an option to choose that would be nice. Would it be easier for you to treat that subject if I write a new topic ?
