Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between the Green and Blue Diamond chests, or why there are two colours?
Images above for comparison. I get a mix of both of those.
Thanks for any insights

Do you know what kind of chests they are? Dungeon have various symbols on them. Skirmish have crossed swords and blank chests are just that, blank. Maybe the colour is related to that, not sure really?
The Diamond chests are one colour; there is only one Diamond chest asset.
What device/devices do you play PQ3 on? Cos the background and flair effects are also different shades from one another.
But also knowing where these chests were opened, would be helpful.
All on the same device. An older Samsung Galaxy S9+ (game overheats my S21 Ultra cause o have a lemon lol).
Sorry, I didn’t grab the opening region, but I’ll work on getting that info for future openings of the colours I see.
Edit:
Daily Gauntlet of Fire gave me a green one. One from the current Adventure gave me a blue. Both just now. Same device.
How odd. The background and flair effects have a similar hue, but the first chest looks like the whole chest has had a cooling overlay/filter applied to it….it’s not just the blue crystal portion of the chest but the whole chest (including the carcass) has the overlay applied.
On PS5, at least, all my Diamond chests are closer to the warmer, more greenish hue as shown in the second image, rather than the cooler tones of the bluer chest in the first image.
Agree, it’s not only the blue that’s impacted, but the entire image in-game. That’s why i initially assumed it was related to night mode vs normal mode switch in my iPhone ![]()
