Since the latests update, the controller actions freezes the game. Mainly in menus like bazaar, gear, spells, not in fighting. I tried three different controllers, all original PS 5 ones.
Switching controllers when the battery is low, has always been an issue, but restarting did the trick. Now using the menus it freeze very often. This morning checking all the good stuff in the bazaar etc etc, three time.
Any idea how the fix this on my end.
Just while I am waiting to hear anything further from the team, are your controllers up to date?
As in have they been plugged into your console recently and checked that they are running their latest software
What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened This is simply what you were trying to do and what happened instead. Example: ‘I was trying to start an Arena battle, but Gems of War loaded Broken Spire quest instead!’
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening? Was this a once-off bug or has it been a consistent issue? Does it only happen after doinga particular game mode?
Steps to make it happen again Do you know how to make this happen? Sometimes there are certain steps that can lead to a problem that may not be obvious! Example: I lose once in the Dungeon. I then exit to the world map. I then enter the Tavern before returning to the Dungeon menu. I choose to fight in the Dungeon again and get taken back to the Tavern instead of a battle starting.
They have been plugged in and checked for updates.
Sometimes the circular cursor will move, but leaves a trail of it image behind. No further action possible. The console does not give a bug report option after quitting the game on the desktop.
Today it went well. Not sure why but I am happy it did.
About switching controllers when battery is low. I had a thought about that. Since the controllers are more or less account linked, the game thinks it is somebody else wanting to play. I hope you understand my poor english.
Thx for taking your time.
This is actually a bug that occasionally happens from time to time (although not too often) in Puzzle Quest 3. Has nothing to do with the controller, to my knowledge.
Thanks for the link.
Yeah obviously when selecting the menus, the X button is used. Poor X-button always to blame. Since it resolved on it own…
When it happens again more frequently, I will let you know and pay more attention on what I am doing
