Having the server connection indicator in any fixed spot creates problems. When tasking a follower and then experiencing minor server lag, the tendency is to tap again in case your screen didn’t recognize your tap. If the server lag clears quickly, this results in an expense of 25 gems.
Whenever or wherever there is an active button, that is where the server connection indicator should pop up so the player doesn’t continue to tap. I can’t tell you how many hundreds of gems I have lost in this way.
