Why no battle log?

I spend a lot of time trying to recreate in game situations:

  • To find and report bugs
  • To help other players understand spell and game mechanics
  • To determine how the “stack” applies buff/debuff.
  • etc…

These would be so easy to discover with a battle log for in-game events.

Any chance you can enable something like this?

I can always pass it on as a QOL for sure

What exactly are you picturing for this..

  • Is it something that appears on the reward screen you can tap on to get this “log”?
  • What information is being displayed?
    • Is it just something like a battle breakdown, or something as detailed as every move taken?

The more the better. I think ideally it would be stored in a text file that could be accessed from the device

If I am waving a magic wand, I would also love to see it through an on-screen button with some formatting and full filtering options.

I am sure a text file would be easiest to enable and could lend itself to some really cool community development.

For what to put in the file. Each interaction on the board represented in text with concrete numbers for each event. Currently, everything flashes on the screen so fast it is hard to track it without a frame-by-frame inspection.

I would love to see numbers for each event like:

  • leech
  • regen
  • possessed
  • heal
  • skull damage
  • damage increases from effects (Color affinity (red v. green), Poison, Terror, etc.)
  • damage increases from gear (Jeweled Gauntlets, etc.)
  • damage decreases from effects (hex, blind, etc.)
  • damage decreases from resists (melee, missile, color)
  • spell damage
  • power increase (from heroic, guard/royal sword, warlord belt, etc.)
  • power increase from current board state (warlord belt)
  • row matches
  • column matches
  • gem matches (count and color)
  • gem upgrades
  • gem conversions
  • status effects, gained and afflicted
  • health, armor, resistance
  • enemy health, armor, resistance
  • mana gains with effects (haste, mastery, etc.)
  • etc.

I could try to list it all, but I am sure you guys have it already

Thanks for always being willing to hear us out and help make the game better.
